Marsteller holiday coffee mug

Objective: In 2004 our department wanted to give a holiday gift to the rest of the office. We decided to design a mug that the office will enjoy.

My Position: My part in this project was the graphic designer. I presented my department with a few choices and they liked this design the best. I created the mug to be more than just a mug. I turned it into a game. The gentleman that is on the mug is Bill Marsteller, the founder of Marsteller. I changed his photo eight times throughout the design. (One is very noticable in the image to the left.)

My boss created a poem that we printed out and placed inside the mug. I also added an answer sheet behind the poem so that everyone could see the different portraits.

Software Used: Photoshop and Illustrator

Objective: A friend of mine was getting married and needed to create and print the menu for their reception. So to help them out, I offered my design services to them.

My Position: I was the graphic designer on this project. I created three different versions and this is the one that they choose to go with.

Coffee Tasting Signage

Objective: Our office decided to do a coffee taste test to determine what new brands we should have in our office.

My Position: I was the graphic designer for this project. The sign to the left was posted in our two coffee bars announcing the time, date and location of the tasting. I also created a sign that hung over the actual tasting.

City Escape newspaper ad

Objective: My client was re-opening her garden center and wanted to place an ad in a few different local papers - Daily Herald and Chicago Tribune. The client gave me a layout of what she was looking for.

My Position: For this project I was the project manager/graphic designer. Once I received the layout, copy and ad sizes from my client I created the ad, received my clients approval on the ad and then passed it onto the different newspapers.
